My Journey Back to Reading: 2026 TBR List

Growing up, I was such an avid reader. I went on to earn my English degree and I even worked at Barnes & Noble during college! But then life happened and reading got away from me, but my love for it never left. Over time, I developed a hobby for buying books and my bookshelf grew faster than I could finish. I slowly got back into it last year but now I want to keep the momentum going.

On New Year’s I finally went through my bookshelf and organized everything. So without further ado, here is my full TBR (to be read) list. If you’d like to watch my vlog about it, check it out on my YouTube channel.

My primary goal is to finish the current queue by May or June. I can read about 2 books a month if I actively try. Once that list is done, I’d like to get through the rest as much as I can. I’m not concerned about speed. I also don’t forcing myself to finish books I don’t like so my results at year-end will reflect that. I do have a wish list, but I’d like to make a dent before adding more to my bookshelf. I’m really looking forward to exploring which titles, authors, and genres that I like since that’s changed over time.

Happy reading!
